[ACG52-P11] Influence of boreal forest expansion on precipitation in tropics
キーワード:植生フィードバック
Vegetation influences on the formation of climate through energy and water exchange between atmosphere and land. In the past warm period, vegetation change such as northward expansion of boreal forest and so-called “Green Sahara” played important role as a part of climate system. On the other hand, the introduction of vegetation change to the future climate projection is an important factor of rapid and/or irreversible change a.k.a tipping point, especially in high latitude since Arctic change progresses faster than global change. In the present study, we investigate the effect of vegetation change in northern high latitude upon precipitation change in the tropics by using an atmosphere-ocean-vegetation coupled GCM.
