[ACG52-P12] Impact of anthropogenic aerosols on Arctic amplification in a long-term future climate using a climate model

To assess the impact of anthropogenic aerosols on the Arctic amplification (AA), we conducted two climate simulations with 10-member ensembles for SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5. This study fixed emissions of anthropogenic sulfur dioxide, a key precursor to anthropogenic aerosols, at 2015 levels for both scenarios. Even with fixed aerosol emissions, AA could still be enhanced in a low-emission scenario, and energy budget analysis suggests that ice-albedo feedback is the primary factor, which aligns with the findings of our previous study.
