Students from Seiko Gakuin Junior High School and Shibuya Gakuen Makuhari Junior High School were invited by NASA to participate in EARTH to SPACE: Arts Breaking the Sky, which was held from March 28th to April 20th in Washington DC, USA.
Students from 4 countries gave presentations on the use of data from the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM).
This article reports on the background and content of this project.
It also introduces the STEM education at NASA that was felt through this activity.
