The climatology of tornadoes, waterspouts, and funnel clouds for Indonesia is constructed into new tornado database based on newspaper archives, news on the internet, and social media (YouTube, X, and Instagram) for the period 1893–2024. The climatology includes the annual, diurnal, geographical for each event. Totally, 197 events were identified: 142 tornadoes, 45 waterspouts, and 11 funnel clouds. In the 21st century (2000–2024), the annual average of 6.2 cases occurred and 0.39 cases occurred in the 19th-20th century (1893–1999). Tornadoes are more frequent to occur in Java Island, followed by Sumatra and Sulawesi. Tornadoes monthly variability shows a maximum during November, followed by January and December. The diurnal cycle peak of tornadoes cases is in the afternoon-evening, around 1300–1800 local time.
