Keywords:Weather radar , Phased array, Lightning discharges

In this presentation, the relevance of ice crystal array and lightning discharges will be discussed using dual polarization phased array radar for meteorological applications and LF band 3D lightning locator in the Kanto area. In particular, the relevance of the horizontal and vertical distribution of lightning discharges and negative specific differential phase regions will be discussed through a three-dimensional analysis.
