The temperature distribution of small bodies causes their orbital changes. The surface temperature depends on their interior temperature. Therefore, the direct measurement of the internal temperature is expected. We have been making a CubeSat for a planetary defense mission called the Maebashi CubeSat. This CubeSat aims to land the small body and measure the internal temperature. The mission design, the communication system, and the attitude control system were developed. In this study, we show the current status of the Maebashi CubeSat.
