[O11-P01] Why didn't Toyooka High School collapse?

*Mika Iwamoto1, *Reina Otagaki1, *Sota Ozaki1 (1.Toyooka High School, Hyogo Prefecture)

Keywords:Kitatajima earthquake, Toyooka High School

his year marks the 100th anniversary of the Kitatajima earthquake.
At that time, Toyooka High School suffered almost no damage from the earthquake, while Toyooka City was severely damaged.
Based on this, we hypothesized that Toyooka High School was located on the solid base of Mount Jinmu, and through investigation of documents from that time and comparison of geological survey data, we were able to clarify why Toyooka High School was able to escape collapse damage.
