With the current climate change due to global warming, there is concern about the impact on our living environment. We wondered if we could reduce the carbon dioxide contained in the greenhouse gases that are the cause. We wondered if it would be possible to absorb carbon dioxide efficiently by using photosynthesis, which is carried out by chloroplasts outside of plant cells, for the exterior walls of buildings.
Using spinach from different growing regions, we extracted chloroplasts that functioned differently, performed photosynthesis on them, and reported the effects of the differences in the soils in which they were produced.
