1 Research Background
Since 2011, our school's Astronomy and Meteorology Club has conducted visual observations of the Perseid meteor shower at an annual camp. Records show that the club started observing meteors in 1953, but the details were unknown. Last year, however, we found detailed record sheets from 1969 onward, so we digitized and organized 35 years of records, excluding missing or lost years, and analyzed the trends of meteor showers.
