[PEM10-P23] New observation with a full-scale muon detector at Syowa Station, Antarctic
Keywords:Cosmic ray observation, Syowa Station, Antarctic, New muon detector system
Cosmic-ray observations contribute to research of space weather and space climate. During the 66-th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, we doubled the detection area of a muon detector at Syowa Station and started the observation with a full-scale muon detector in February, 2025. This talk reports on the improvement of the observation achieved by doubling the detection area. The role expected to be played by simultaneous cosmic ray observations with new muon detectors and neutron monitors at Syowa Station will be also introduced.
