[SSS05-P03] Research on Cloud-Edge Collaborative Earthquake Disaster Monitoring and Early Warning Methods

To address the earthquake disaster monitoring and early warning needs in areas with underdeveloped communication and power infrastructures, this paper proposes a novel approach integrating intelligent edge-side information sensing and cloud-based model services. Edge devices continuously acquire seismic data and leverage their embedded computational capabilities to process ground motion signals locally, thereby reducing data transmission volume and minimizing dependence on communication networks and power supply systems. The cloud platform develops robust seismic monitoring and warning models/algorithms through sample accumulation, expert knowledge databases, and artificial intelligence techniques, subsequently deploying these optimized models to edge devices to enhance processing reliability.
