Keywords:Source rupture process, Hyuganada Sea

On August 8,2024, there was a Mw7.0 earthquake at a depth of 31 km under the Hyuganada Sea and a maximum seismic intensity 6 Lower was observed in Miyazaki Prefecture. And on January 13, 2025, there was a Mw6.7 earthquake at a depth of 36 km under the Hyuganada Sea and a maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower was observed in Miyazaki Prefecture. We analyzed source rupture process of these earthquake using strong-motion data and global body-wave. The rupture of the 2024 earthquake propagated upward mainly in the south direction. The rupture of the 2025 earthquake propagated upward mainly in the northeast direction. We will explain source rupture process, seismic activity, crustal movements and seismic intensity observation data.
