[U06-06] The Importance of a Multidimensional Meta-Approach to Achieving Open Science: Insights from the Recommendations of the Science Council of Japan

In this lecture, author will first introduce the contents of the "Recommendations for the 7th Science, Technology, and Innovation Basic Plan," which was the first recommendation issued by the 26th term of the Science Council of Japan. As the Chair of the Academic System Subcommittee of the Scientists Committee, which compiled the recommendations, author will focus on Open Science.
Next, author will explain the background, process, and subsequent impact of the recommendations, then reaffirm the importance of optimizing the diverse elements that span across disciplines and sectors to achieve Open Science. Furthermore, author will discuss the significance of Meta-Science with a multidimensional meta-approach.
