1. Introduction
NII Research Data Cloud (NII RDC) by the National Institute of Informatics is an information platforms that match the lifecycle of research data. In "the Basic Concept on Management and Utilization of Research Data with Public Funds"[1], It is positioned as a core platform for the management and utilization of research data in Japan.
This paper introduces the functions of each platform that makes up NII RDC.

2. Overview of Each Platform of NII Research Data Cloud
2.1. Research Data Management Platform (GakuNin RDM)
GakuNin RDM is a research data management service for researchers to manage and share their research data and related materials. By managing research data on a common platform, it enables rapid sharing and access control across institutions, even in a closed space. In addition, for research institutions, centralized management of research data on a common platform can increase the effectiveness of data policies.

2.2. Publishing Platform (WEKO3 / JAIRO Cloud)
JAIRO Cloud, an institutional repository environment provision service, is widely used in repositories at universities and academic institutions. It has a function to set metadata items necessary for the publication of research results, and by assigning DOIs, it enables permanent identification of data. In addition, by linking with the entire NII RDC, it is possible to smoothly proceed with the publication of research results. It is designed as a general-purpose repository that can handle not only literature but also research data.

2.3. Discovery Platform (CiNii Research)
CiNii Research is an academic information discovery platform that enables cross-disciplinary searches. It allows users to search not only for research results registered in the public infrastructure but also for books, research data, literature, researcher information, and project information. It increases the discoverability of academic information, promotes the utilization of research data, and supports collaboration between different fields and the idea of new research themes.

3. Use Case
The "Developing a Research Data Ecosystem for the Promotion of Data-Driven Science"[2], that is a project of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), positions NII RDC as the core system of the project, and is promoting to develop a nationwide research data platform. This project also aims to create seeds and use cases for AI and data-driven research, and NII RDC is being used in a variety of adopted projects, including those in the fields of earth science and planetary science(e.g., [3]).

4. Future Outlook
Following the government's policy[4], appropriate management of research data and publication of results are becoming mandatory for projects that receive public research funding. NII RDC is expanding its support for this trend through the data linkage function of GakuNin RDM and JAIRO Cloud.
NII RDC contributes to the realization of open science by providing consistent support from research data management to search. We hope to share the potential of NII RDC with many researchers and promote its use.
