Promoting inclusion in knowledge societies is essential and one of the most effective strategies to address complex problems in these challenging times. We need the DEEI perspective and a new dimension of inclusion/inclusivity to navigate these difficult periods. In this session, we aim to clarify DEEI/EDI issues and opportunities within this field and discuss the current landscape across sectors, including progress and remaining challenges related to inclusion and fairness in earth science as we explore new horizons.
We welcome all initiatives and suggestions related to inclusion from academic societies, universities, funding organizations, research groups, and individuals worldwide.
