This session invites interdisciplinary research on Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for mitigating urban pluvial flooding under extreme rainfall scenarios. We welcome contributions that explore hydrological modelling, performance monitoring of decentralised green infrastructure, and city-scale implementation strategies. Emphasis will be placed on integrating technical innovation with policy frameworks and community needs. Topics may include:
Modelling of short-duration storm events and overflow dynamics
Performance assessment of green stormwater infrastructure and hybrid systems
GSI design and implementation in city renovation and urban regeneration
Long-term monitoring and maintenance strategies for GSI
Stakeholder engagement, adaptive governance, and public acceptance
Comparative analysis of NbS and grey infrastructure under climate stress
Integration of NbS into urban planning, resilience benchmarking, and policy instruments
