[A-OS26] [JJ] Research on the biodiversity of ocean ecosystems for the conservation of marine biological resources
Sun. May 21, 2017 5:15 PM - 6:30 PM Poster Hall (International Exhibition Hall HALL7)
The problems on the decreasing the global biodiversity caused by the artificial destruction of environments and global warming becomes a serious concern of world society since the late 20th century. There are many reports on the change of ocean ecosystem caused by the environmental change have been published. Modern human society must have the responsibilities to maintain the healthy ocean ecosystems and to conserve the marine biological resources. In this session, recent studies on the mechanisms of the changes and variabilities of ocean ecosystems from the research of long-term ocean monitoring, biochemical or genomic technology and newly designed ocean model technology will be introduced. The discussion of this session will contribute to sustainable use of marine biological resources.
