[Abstract]
[Introduction]Zygomatic implants offer a solution for restoring masticatory function in severe maxillary atrophy, albeit with higher invasiveness and potential surgical risks. The Straumann® ZAGA Flat implant (Straumann, Switzerland)introduces a less invasive alternative, aiming to mitigate these risks while avoiding sinus lifting. This report examines the efficacy, complications, and patient satisfaction of the All-on-4 technique with ZAGA Flat implant in comprehensive restorative treatment.[Case Summary and Treatment Details]A detailed pre-treatment assessment, including patient history, clinical examination, and CBCT scans, was conducted. A 3D model created from DICOM data using reLu®CREATOR software facilitated precise surgical planning for ZAGA implant insertion. After extracting non-viable mandibular teeth, bone-level implants were placed in specific maxillary sites, incorporating the ZAGA-3 technique to avoid sinus lifting. Immediate provisional restorations were applied, followed by the installation of a definitive monolithic zirconia prosthesis four months later.[Progress and Discussion] The 30-month follow-up showed successful osseointegration and aesthetic integration of the implants and prosthesis without adverse events. The treatment met Oral Rehabilitation Implant Score (ORIS) criteria, demonstrating improved chewing efficiency and high patient satisfaction. The All-on-4 strategy with ZAGA Flat implant proved to be a viable alternative for severe atrophic maxillary conditions, offering immediate restoration, enhanced patient satisfaction, and reduced treatment duration. This approach fulfills ORIS criteria, underscoring its clinical success and safety. The All-on-4 technique using ZAGA Flat implants presents a promising solution for patients with severe maxillary atrophy, combining the benefits of immediate restoration, aesthetic satisfaction, and reduced treatment timelines. This method stands as a successful alternative to traditional implant procedures, especially in challenging anatomical conditions.[References]1 Carlos A, Roberto L, Toamas A.
