[2E3-J-12-04] Voice User Interface as a Method to Enhance Users' Activities on an LMS

Voice User Interfaces (VUI) are recently used with smart speakers such as Google Home and Amazon Echo, and smart phones that support operations by voice.
If VUI, which enables hands-free and intuitive use, becomes available with LMS (Learning Management Systems), learning activities on LMS can be easier, and it can help to evoke learners' motivation.
In addition, if it is possible to search LMS help documents by voice via the VUI and listen to the search result, work efficiency of LMS content creators can possibly be improved.
In this research, we have developed voice apps to attempt quizzes on Moodle (open source LMS) sites, and to search MoodleDocs (Moodle online documents).
