[2C1-GS-12-02] Estimation Method of Vocabulary Size of English lerners

In this paper, we propose a novel method to estimate vocabulary size of English learners.
This method is based on simple and brief Yes/No test of whether a person knows or doesn't know certain words.
As preliminary investigation, we analyze the results of 33 junior high school students.
In future, we plan to estimate vocabulary size for each student and recommend picture-books in suitable level to promote extensive reading in English.
