[2M1-GS-7-01] Simulation for Ride-sharing Service Using Multiple Types of New Mobilities
Keywords:Ride-Sharing, Multi-Agent System, Mobility on Demand
In recent years, the depopulation of rural areas has rapidly progressed in Japan, resulting in a vicious cycle in which services to residents have become inadequate, which has further accelerated depopulation. A new transportation system using the new mobility is sought as a suitable local infrastructure in order to stop this vicious cycle. In this study, the authors propose a model of ride-sharing service using multiple types of new mobility and implement them into an existing multi-agent-based traffic simulator. Specifically, these are a small-sized autonomous vehicle that transports a user flexibly and a medium-sized vehicle traveling a specific route. The simulation result showed the applicability of the proposed system, however, at the same time, it indicated a need to improve the dispatch algorithm for small-sized vehicles.
