[3D1-OS-22a-04] Analyzing the Stage Performance Structure of Kabuki-dance “Kyoganoko Musume Dojoji”

Although kabuki-dance, Kyoganoko Musume Dojoji is a type of sequel of the original Dojoji legend, it has been performed by many excellent on’nagata actors since Edo era as a work that has an original content beyond the original legends. Referred the analysis of Kyoganoko Musume Dojoji by Tamotsu Watanabe, this study aims to analyze in detail its “stage performance structures” that include characters, background (stage setting), music (instruments, musicians, and genres), poetry, prose, and speech, and core mental themes by the scenes as the main elements. Furthermore, using the system called KOSERUBE that the authors have developed for an animation tool for a narrative generation system, this paper constructs its stage performance structures as easy visual image. This study aims at the applications to a representation method of narrative generation systems, computer games, and automatic generation contents, etc.
