[3J1-OS-9a-01] "Nudge" Agent: Projected Intelligence System that Guides People to Wellbeing
Keywords:Nudge, Agent, Cognitive Bias, Predictive Coding, Human-Agent Interaction
“Nudge” advocated in behavioral economics is known as a strategy that guides people to health and well-being with “a little modest way.” Thaler is known as the Nobel Prize in Economics winner in 2017 with this achievement. Now that redesign of social system is required due to the rapid development of information technology such as AI and IoT, in this research we regard “nudge” as “mental navigation” through implementing as a “Nudge Agent” by using the basic technology of Human-Agent Interaction (HAI) which we have been carrying out. The novelty and originality of the “Nudge” Agent are that (a) by integrating “theory” in the behavioral economics and “learning” in AI system, it can predict human decision making with a small amount of data, (b) by “agent migration”' to IoT devices in the environment, it can support users’ decision making suited to context there, and (c) by visualizing the processes that construct the nudges, it can “foster” human decision-making ability.
