Much of people's activities are now run on digital platforms.
They are becoming increasingly important, especially for events related to life opportunities.
The projects, such as credit scores, the use of FinTech in personal lending businesses, and health insurance depending on genomics research, are expected to enrich the lives of people.
At the same time, there are concerns that they have negative effects.
All of these are related to life chances, although the data controller and the purpose are different respectively.
Knowing the users' views on the acceptability of each business depending on the data controller and the purpose of use of personal data should be a guideline for data utilization in a socially acceptable manner.
Based on the above idea, this paper considers social acceptability according to the data controller and the purpose of data utilization based on the results of a Web questionnaire survey.
