[3O1-GS-13-02] User Interface of Online Argumentation Using Argumentation Framework
Keywords:argumentation framework, abstract, alternative dispute resolution
In order to support the online argumentation, we have developed user interfaces based on a diagram. Though a diagram is convenient for effective argumentation, in case of a complex topic, the graph becomes huge and the user cannot understand whole logical structure of the argumentation. To solve this problem, summarization of a diagram is promising way. To avoid the logical semantics of a diagram change between an original diagram and a summary diagram, we focused on the semantics of Bipolar Argumentation Framework (BAF). By detecting a local part of BAF which argues the subtopic and by shrinking it to a single node, the summary BAF is constructed. We showed the condition by which semantics of BAF is maintained.
