[3Rin4-16] Proposal of Traveling Route Recommendation System Considering User Experience

This paper proposes the concept of a journey planning system consisting of route recommendation and street view navigation video considering User Experience. When people visit a strange country for the first time, they always feel confused about searching and finding their way to tourist attractions. Although there are many tourist attraction systems and services that hold lots of information of different types of tourist attractions, they still lack the facility of complete journey planning and route recommendation. The proposed system aims to recommend tourist attractions and routes among them. The proposed system also provides a street view navigation video with Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR). This does help not only users to experience the street view under different situations, but also the tourist spots to analyze the impact of street impressions on tourists. This paper describes the system architecture and shows the example of the navigation image.
