[3Rin4-40] Creating Life Support Care Evidence for Elderly People with Dementia Using Multimodal Environmental Sensing
Keywords:Environmental Sensing, dementia
We have studied to create evidence for good care for dementia people.
We have been collaborating with a nursing care facility in Shinagawa
for years, and constructed a multimodal sensing environment which can
record 24-hour continuous data from sensors for measuring temperature,
humidity and illuminance in the facility. We have developed an
analysis tool for visualizing the states of environment from multiple
viewpoints. The results have created some evidence of the
interventional behaviors for the environment by opening and closing
windows and curtains, which affect the good maintenance of the living
spaces for each situation.
