[4N3-OS-26b-03] (OS invited talk) What we don't want AI to do

〇Kazuhiro Taira1 (1. J. F. Oberlin University)

Keywords:Artificial Intelligence, Social Acceptability, Mentality

There is a considerable gap between what AI can do and what many people don't want AI to do. The assertion that people should not be taken to the "AI society" is persistent, regardless of the country. Veteran singer Tatsuro Yamashita has criticized "AI Hibari Misora," who appeared in the NHK Red and White Song Battle late last year, as blasphemy. In the United States, there have been reports of local residents protesting "Luddite" in demonstration tests of self-driving cars using AI. As technology continues to change rapidly, we must be mindful of the voices of discomfort and doubts around theses changes.
