[2N5-OS-7a-03] An Autonomous Mobile Robot Generating Context-Aware Description Using Its Observation and Memory
Keywords:Intelligent robots, autonomous mobile robots, social robots, language generation, memory
Robots working in a symbiotic space with a user must be trusted and smoothly generate cooperative behavior. The ability to express a robot's observation, memorization, and intention in a human-understandable manner is essential for trust. Description by language is an effective way to convey various information to users. In this study, we studied the robot's describing ability by comparing different description rules in a user guide task. Specifically, we used an autonomous mobile interactive robot platform to describe its observation and internal states for comparison and evaluated them by human subjective evaluation using crowdsourcing.
