[2N6-OS-7b-02] Evaluation of a Dialogue Agent that Exchanges Information about Others based on Long-Term Experiment
Keywords:Human-Agent Interaction (HAI), Chatbot, Information sharing, Long-term experiment, Information privacy
In recent years, there has been a lot of research that has been aimed at maintaining long-term user interest using non-task-oriented dialogue systems. However, non-task-oriented dialogue systems have not been widely adopted in society, and it is important to make them continue to be accepted by people. The purpose of this study is to develop a system that can exchange information about others and to examine its usefulness as well as its problems such as privacy concerns. As a result of the experiment, it was suggested that the usefulness of exchanging information about others is that it can maintain users' motivation to interact with the system. On the other hand, regardless of the presence or absence of exchanging information about others, it was suggested that the users were concerned about their privacy to the system that collected their information on a daily basis. These result will be useful for the design of dialogue systems that continue to be widely accepted in society.
