[3C4-GS-6-04] Analysis of Nonverbal Features of Multinational Speakers in Personality Trait Estimation

Various types of non-verbal information, such as gestures and facial expressions, have important roles in face-to-face communication.It is known that the expressed nonverbal information is different depending on culture and nationality.The first aim of this study is to analyze differences in nonverbal information on dyadic interactions by speakers of multiple languages.The second aim is to investigate how nonverbal behavior differences influence a recognition task of personality traits.For this purpose,we used NoXi data corpus,a multimodal dataset of conversations collected in three countries with different cultural backgrounds.We report the nonverbal features which are different among interaction pair groups in three countries through an ANOVA analysis.
