[3Yin2-46] Toward Assistance System Development for Chat-Style Psychological Counseling to Improve Response Rate

With the development of the Internet, chat-style psychological counseling that is easily accessible to clients has become popular, as well as face-to-face counseling. However, the response rate, which is the percentage of counseling received, becomes less than 50\% due to an increase in the number of clients and the lack of counselors. Therefore, to increase the response rate to 100\%, this research aims to develop a system that assists counselors by using natural language processing. Specifically, the counseling is based on a chatbot that seamlessly switches to the counselor according to the level of risk of the client. In this paper, a risk estimator for the client is created as a part of the system based on the prior information answered by the client. The performance was low and insufficient and the necessity to enrich the prior information was suggested.
