[4J1-OS-25a-05] Improving restaurant service labor productivity using AGV, PDR and simulation

In this study, service system for restaurant service is redesigned using Automate Guided Vehicle system (AGV), Pedestrian Debt Recognition system (PDR), and simulator. The system is introduced to an actual restaurant store; PDR measure operation transition of service staff for operation improvement. AGV is introduced to replace dish conveyance operation from human to robot. Simulator simulate battery charge method and AGV operation efficiency. Results show that the system redesign improve labor productivity result from work time reduction. Also, the system redesign change staff operation; staffs support each other using time buffer results from operation change.
