In recent years, there has been active research on AI art created by not only AI alone, but also human and AI collaboration. These studies are attracting attention for both their academic significance and their contribution to cultural development. In relation to Japanese culture, there are no previous studies from the perspective of co-creation between human and AI. In this study, we focus on Renga, which is a form of Japanese poetry composed by multiple people, and propose a method to construct an interactive Renga system between human and AI as a co-creation system. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the proposed system can produce responses that make short Renga possible, although there are some issues in terms of the novelty of the response phrases.
