[2I6-OS-4a-05] Experimental Study on Data Evaluation Potential by Different Indicators in Cross-disciplinary Data Collaboration and Value Creation
Keywords:Data evaluation, Data collaboration, Data ecosystem, Knowledge discovery
In recent years, there have been growing expectations for value creation through data exchange and collaboration among different companies and organizations. However, one of the factors making data exchange difficult is the problem of inadequate information provided to determine the value of data and the absence of evaluation criteria. Although there is a need to estimate the data value before data exchange, it is not fully understood what kind of information is useful to be provided and what kind of evaluation criteria should be used to evaluate data to facilitate data exchange. In this paper, assuming a case in which data provided by different organizations are combined to create a new service, we discuss the impact of viewing information about the provided data (data catalog and actual data) on data evaluation based on the results obtained from a subject experiment.
