[3G5-OS-24b-05] Homeostatic Spatial Design based on the Understanding of Living Environmental Determinants of Falls
Keywords:Living environmental determinants of health, Maintain bady balance, Living space design, Homeostasis, Falls
In the field of public health, there has been a strong demand for understanding the social determinants of health (SDH) to reduce health disparities. The purpose of this study is to identify the living environmental determinants of falls (EDF) using knowledge graphs by applying the concept of SDH to the level of everyday life. In this paper, we first discussed the analysis of knowledge graphs of emergency transport data due to falls in the elderly. Then, we reported how we determined a fall-resisting body skill as one of EDF based on the result of knowledge graphs analysis. Lastly, we proposed the concept of homeostatic spatial design and discussed the development of its prototypes as a proof of concept.
