[3K1-GS-9-02] Using Learning Logs to Support Inquiry Learning through Natural Language Processing

The GIGA school concept is promoting a "one student, one terminal" environment in which each student is given a terminal. The purpose of this initiative is to use educational data to improve learners' classes, reduce the burden of school work, and reform work styles in schools. In this paper, we analyze the artifacts created by students in class and construct a system that supports students' ideas, provides a function to show similarity with model answers and a function to group artifacts, and supports teachers' grading and reflection in class. This system has made it possible for teachers to quantitatively observe the children's learning process. We will consider connecting this to the realization of active learning through inquiry-based learning in the future.
