[4G3-OS-24d-04] A Basic Study of Maintaining and Promoting the Daily Health of Pre-Diabetics Using a Chatbot
Keywords:chatbot, Diabetes, Living Habit Disease, Specific health guidance, Specific Health Screening
Currently in Japan, more than half of the people diagnosed as being eligible for specific health guidance in health checkups do not receive it,and only 35% of the patients with abnormal glucose metabolism who were recommended to receive it do so.In addition, although companies and municipalities set up detailed programs for diabetic patients to improve their lifestyle-related diseases, few diabetic patients are able to carry out these programs. This is because many people with lifestyle-related diseases are unable to manage themselves in their daily lives, and because they cannot imagine what would happen if their symptoms actually become severe, and therefore, they are not able to think of the disease as their own problem. In this study,we design a one-question-and-one-answer chatbot that provides information on diabetes with the aim of supporting pre-diabetics to voluntarily receive regular health checkups and specific health guidance, and to maintain and promote their health in their daily lives.Based on the design,we will test the chatbot and investigate whether the intended effect can be obtained.
