[13a-2R-8] Crystallographic and Spectroscopic Anomalies in Zn Doped CoAl₂O₄ Spinel Oxides

Correlation between crystallograpic change and the spectroscopic characteristics were investigated for the sample series of (Co,Zn)Al₂O₄. Then, some interesting phenomena were found in this study. Especially, fluorescence phenomenon is important, and it is considered relating to the property of Co²⁺ at B site of the spinel structure. It is worth studying, since this material doesn't have rare earth elements.
