[13p-1A-4] Optical Properties of Atomic Layered Transition Metal Dichalcogenides towards Opto-electronic Application

Atomic layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), which have optical band gap, have been attracted as promissing materials for future opto-electronic device application. Towards device application, it is important to understand exciton (photo-generated electron-hole pairs) dynamics. We clarified the exciton dynamics of various atomic layered TMDs using micro photoluminecence spectroscopy. The posibbility for opto-electronic application will be discussed in the presentaion based on these optical properties.
