From the security system of buildings or healthcare devices to various types of sensors that realize "Internet of Things", number of independent electronic equipment will increase explosively in future. As power sources of such devices, the need of energy harvesting devices using thermoelectric conversion is predicted to increase. For this purpose, the study on organic heat electric materials becomes popular rapidly because of their potential advantages of low cost per area and mechanical flexibility. In this presentation, we will propose promising material systems from our survey of organic-based thermoelectric materials and recent studies in other groups and briefly introduce our recent results of related topics.
