The effects of corner radius on electromagnetic field enhancement were studied. Using E-beam lithography, the bowtie nanostructure arrays with various corner radii were fabricated. The experimental results showed the enhancement factor of sharp bowtie was stronger than the rounded bowtie with the same gap distance, and the relationship between enhancement factors and corner radius could be fitted by a power-law relation.
