▼ [13p-2C-3] Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance and Plasmon Hybridization in Contour Bowtie Nanoantenna
Keywords:localized surface plasmon resonance,plasmon hybridization,contour bowtie
The plasmonic behaviors of gold contour bowtie antennas were numerically analyzed by finite-difference time-domain method in this work. The critical dimension of contour bowtie to induce the additional enhancement was investigated by examining the resonance wavelength and the local electromagnetic field enhancement dependence on bowtie size and contour thickness. The phase of electric field and the bound surface charge distribution of contour bowtie were also studied to characterize the coupled plasmon configurations. Moreover, a plasmon hybridization model was proposed to explain the resonance and hybridization behavior in the simulation results.
