[13p-2E-10] Circularly polarized light excitation plasmon trapping using metal trimer structure and potential analysis

Keywords:plasmon,optical trapping

Optical trapping have been a non-destructive and non-contact tool to manipulate the micro-particle. In conventional optical trapping, the trapped area is limited in a diffraction limit. In recent years, highly localized optical field by localized surface plasmon has been used to optical trapping for much smaller trapped particle and nano-meter trapped area. We have reported the circular polarized mode of gap-mode plasmon with trimer structure. In this report, we demonstrate the plasmon-trapping with gold nano-trimer structure excited by circular polarized beam and the analysis of their trapping potentials.
