▲ [13p-2G-3] TW-class high-power femtosecond infrared laser source based on dual-chirped optical parametric amplification
Keywords:laser,infrared,optical parametric amplification
We demonstrate high-energy infrared femtosecond pulses generation by Dual-Chirped Optical Parametric Amplification (DC-OPA) scheme. At 100 mJ pump energy, output energy of exceeding 20 mJ was achieved before pulse compensation at signal wavelength near 1.4 μm. Total output energy of 30 mJ was achieved with ~ 30 % conversion efficiency. Signal pulse is compressed to 27 fs. These are the highest energy and peak power pulses ever produced in the 1.2–2.3 mm region by the ultrafast OPA scheme. In addition, DC-OPA scheme is efficient and scalable in output energy to obtain intense infrared pulses. The high-energy femtosecond infrared pulses by DC-OPA suits as a driver laser for energy scaling of high-order harmonic generation with sub-keV photon energy.
