[13p-2Q-17] Oxide thin film calcination by microwave absorption at heterogeneous interfaces

We recently observed a characteristic heat generation of the sample composed of layered heterostructure of two different materials possessing low microwave absorptivity. We hypothesize that the characteristic heating is attributed to the dieletric loss of the rearrangement of dipoles at the heterogeneous interfaces in the layered structure. In this study, we show an application of this interfacial microwave heating to the thin film calcination for printable solar cell. In addition, we try to in-situ observe the arrangement of interfacial dipole by the oscillating electromagnetic field.
