[13p-PA1-28] Crystal lattice strain and magnetic anisotropy of highly Bi-substituted Neodymium Iron Gallium Garnet thin films on GGG substrates prepared by MOD method

Previous studies have reported that Bi-substituted neodymium iron gallium garnet thin films on gadolinium gallium garnet (GGG) substrates prepared by metal organic decomposition (MOD) method show perpendicular magnetization. In this study, highly Bi-substituted neodymium iron gallium garnet thin films on GGG (111) and (100) substrates were prepared by MOD method and reciprocal lattice mapping by high-resolution X-ray diffractometer was performed to study crystal lattice strain and the possible cause of the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy will be discussed.
