[13p-PA2-5] Photoresponse Behavior of Liquid Crystals Containing Fluorescent Coumarin Dyes

In this study, the photoinduced behavior of LCs doped with a series of fluorescent molecules was investigated by means of a pump-probe optical set up. Photoinduced reorientation behavior of various coumarin derivatives-doped LC systems was explored to elucidate why Coumarin derivatives function as trigger dyes for photoinduced reorientation of LC system.
