[13p-PA4-14] Flexible pentacene transistors using polysilsesquioxane gate insulator layers

We need to use convential plastic substrates for manufacturing low-cost organic thin film transistors (OTFT). To fabricate flexible OTFTs, polysilsesquioxane (PSQ) gate dielectric layers were formed by spin-coating and UV-curing on poly-ethylene-naphthalate (PEN) substrates, and pentacene active layers were deposited on them by thermal evarporation. We measured electrical characteristics of the devices, which were being bent with various bending radii.
