We have reported selective metal deposition on diaryethenes (DAEs) for various metals including Mg, Zn, Pb and Mn, which originates in a large change in glass temperature (Tg) of the film.We investigated In-vapor deposition on the amorphous DAE surface and found that the
In deposition property was different from that of Mg. When In vapor was deposited on the colored and colorless DAE surface, In nanocrystals on the colorless surfaces were larger than those on the colored surface; this is a opposite tendency for Mg vapor deposition. This result suggests that the mechanism of In film formation is different from Mg.
